Hormone imbalance creeps up for most when we're in our thirties impacting our physical and mental wellbeing. We help women take charge of change, so they can own it and lead it!
Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause when your hormones fluctuate and start to drop. For most of us, this starts to happen in our late 30's / early 40's. It's these changes that cause most of us to experience physical and mental symptoms that can impair the way we function in daily life. As many as 1 in 3 women experience severe symptoms. There are 30 different symptoms including insomnia, anxiety, low mood, hot flushes & night sweats, weight gain, poor or itchy skin, incontinence, vaginal dryness, thin hair (blah blah blah...)
This stage lasts anywhere between 4 & 8 years but symptoms often continue for a few years post-menopause. Many women talk about losing their mojo, energy or not feeling quite right but are unaware that this is down to hormone changes. Instead, we blame other stresses in life for how we are feeling. Sadly, we are often at crisis point before we seek help
